1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits and remember certain information about your session or preferences. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
2.Who sets cookies on FilmConnector?
FilmConnector is operated by FilmConnector, Handelskaai 17 bus 11, 1000 Brussel, Belgium (BCE/KBO 0501.698.846, VAT BE 0501.698.846). We are the data controller for all first-party cookies listed below.
The analytics entries below are written by PostHog's code running on our pages, only after you accept. They are named and read for us; PostHog stores what they send in its EU region.
Payment happens on our payment provider's own checkout page. The provider sets its cookies there, under its own privacy policy, and sets none on this website.
3.Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
The site needs these to work. They identify nobody and are never sent to us.

Analytics (only after you accept)
Before you choose, or if you decline, PostHog counts your visit and its page speed anonymously in the page's memory: nothing is stored on your device, every page load counts as a new visitor, and no session is recorded. If you accept, PostHog stores the entries below to recognise your next visits, and may record a replay of your session (the pages you see, your clicks and scrolling) to show us where the site is hard to use. "<project key>" stands for our PostHog project's public key.

4.Your choices
When you first visit FilmConnector, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Accept and Decline are equal choices: declining changes nothing about how the site works. Declining deletes anything PostHog stored on your device. To change your mind, click Cookie preferences in the footer: it forgets your choice, deletes PostHog's entries and shows the banner again.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing ones, or be alerted when a cookie is set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the platform from working correctly.
5.Legal basis (EU / EEA visitors)
Under the Belgian ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, we rely on legitimate interest for strictly necessary cookies and on your consent for all others. You may withdraw consent at any time with no effect on prior processing.
6.Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new technologies or services. Material changes are communicated via a notice on the platform or by email to registered members at least 14 days before taking effect.
